We performed metagenomic sequencing of bumble bee (Bombus impatiens) queen gut microbiotas before, during, and after diapause to assess changes in taxonomic community structure and metabolic potential. Additionally, we exposed some queens to glyphosate upon emergence from diapause to determine if pesticide exposure affected post-diapause gut microbiota recovery.
