"1. The royal court." The court is sitting in front of a large straw structure within a low circular mud wall. There are two Caucasian men dressed in suits standing near the court. The royal family is adorned with head dresses and clothed in patterned garments. There are a number of villagers standing by the structure. The area seems to be enclosed in wooden pole fencing. The front of the postcard also contains information about the agency: "Ruanda Mission (C.M.S.)" (Church Missionary Society); The back of the postcard is blank.
