From Discipline to Disposition? Text-mining pipeline, lexical dictionaries and reflection prompts

This record contains the analysis code, lexical dictionaries, reflection prompts and aggregate results for the paper "From Discipline to Disposition? Students' Reflections When Entering Interdisciplinary Project-Based Learning" (IFE Conference 2027, Springer). The study compares two successive cohorts of a Master's-level project-based learning course at the Interdisciplinary Transformation University Austria (IT:U) through two reflective assignments: an entry reflection and a team-formation reflection. The pipeline cleans the corpora (ligature repair, name and prompt removal, removal of recurring five-word sequences), computes tf-idf cosine similarity within and between cohorts, runs a centroid permutation test (1,000 reshuffles), measures six lexical fields, and computes term shifts between the two assignments. Running the analysis scripts on the cleaned corpora used in the paper reproduces all reported values exactly. The student reflections are assessed coursework and are not included, to protect students' privacy. A synthetic example dataset of invented sentences is provided so the pipeline can be tested.
