Foraminiferal assemblage data and ecological indices from Jobos Bay, Puerto Rico (2018–2019)

This dataset includes foraminiferal assemblage data, ecological index values (FoRAM Index, Epiphytic FoRAM Index, and Long vs. Short Life Span Index) from bayside and forereef habitats of three cays (Cayo Morrillo, Cayo Pájaros, and Cayo Caribe) in Jobos Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve, Puerto Rico. The dataset was used to evaluate the applicability of foraminiferal-based indices as indicators of environmental conditions in a tropical coastal plain estuary.
