Capital, governance and registration coding of listed Swedish for-profit school groups, FY2020/21–FY2024/25

This dataset contains 436 manually coded disclosure passages from the listed Swedish for-profit school groups with continuous disclosure over FY2020/21–FY2024/25 (AcadeMedia, Cedergrenska, Tellusgruppen), supplemented by one ownership-transition case (Atvexa), covering 20 organisation-years. Each passage is coded for capital form (economic, cultural, social), governance logic (market, bureaucratic, clan), institutional registration, and prominence, by two independent coders and subsequently reconciled. Inter-coder agreement: capital 97.2% (κ = 0.96), governance 94.7% (κ = 0.91), combined CVG cell 92.4% (κ = 0.91), prominence 87.6% (κ = 0.74). Sources are publicly available annual reports, corporate governance reports, remuneration reports and sustainability disclosures. No proprietary or confidential material is included. Names of individuals appearing in the source documents have been replaced with [individual]. The file contains four sheets: README, Data, Data_Dictionary, and Codebook_Registration. Coded passages are in Swedish; all coding variables are in English.
