Pigment concentration of Kolga hyalina gut content collected from Agassiz trawls during POLARSTERN cruise ARK-XXVII/3 (IceArc)

Pigments were extracted in acetone (90%), after addition of glass beads and grinding of each sample in a cell mill (Boetius & Damm 1998, doi:10.1016/S0967-0637(97)00052-6). After centrifugation, concentrations of chlorophyll a and phaeopigments were determined in the supernatant by fluorometric measurement with a Turner fluorometer.
