Number of infectious diseases beds in Russia 1990-2022

In 2022, Russia had about 73,000 hospital beds in the infectious diseases ward, marking a decrease in recent years. In 2020, the number of infectious diseases beds increased sharply given the start of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. In the years prior to 2020, the hospital bed count in that department continuously decreased.
