Pathogen resistance to commercial antibiotics inhibits recovery from the disease, such as multidrug resistance (MDR) tuberculosis, MDR Streptococcus pneumonia, and other antibiotic-resistant bacteria. A new anti-MDR compound is needed to combat these MDR bacteria. Such compound producer is invertebrate-associated-microbiome. Indonesia is home to diverse marine invertebrates which may house beneficial microbiome. This study aim to explore the microbiome community from 10 marine invertebrates located near Tulamben, Bali island. Invertebrate samples were extracted for their metagenomic DNA and PCR with primer V3-V4 was performed. Amplicon sequencing was carried out using Illumina NovaSeq 6000.
