Maternal Asthma During Pregnancy Imprints Fetal Lung Group 2 Innate Lymphoid Cells [snRNA-Seq]

We investigated the effects on the lungs during fetal in the offspring of asthmatic mothers. Lung ILC2 of offspring of asthmatic mothers altered phenotypically during fetal life. Overall design: Fetal lungs were harvested on gestation day 18 from OVA-induced athsmatic mother or PBS-treated control mother. Fetal lungs (E18-OVA, n = 8; E18-PBS, n = 9) were pooled per sample. Fetal lungs cells were prepared by single-cell suspension protocol of fetal lungs.
