资源简介:
Low temperatures pose a significant threat to rice production. Rice is highly sensitive to cold stress, especially at the booting stage. However, few cold-tolerant genes have been cloned for the booting stage, and the mechanisms of cold tolerance at this stage remain unclear. In this study, we cloned a gene, CTB6, encoding a lipid transfer protein. CTB6 is primarily expressed in the tapetum and young microspores of the anther. Here, our results suggest that CTB6 may affect pollen development through the glycerolipid metabolism pathway, thereby regulating cold tolerance at the booting stage in rice.
