National Parks (England)

National Parks are run by National Park Authorities for the purpose of conserving and enhancing the natural beauty, wildlife and cultural heritage and to provide opportunities for the understanding and enjoyment of the Park by the public. Alterations: Yorkshire Dales and Lake District National Park (Designation) boundaries modified 1st August 2016. South Downs National Park (Designation) modified on 2nd June 2010.
