NRS-1338 | Record of stores issued for military and convict works

This is a record which was kept by the Commissariat Stores Branch of stores issued for the performance of works by or for the convicts and military of the colony. It does not include food provisions, which were not classified as "stores". The series is arranged by the names of departments or establishments to which the stores were supplied; the record was made up from another Stores Branch series NRS 1339Registers of approved requisitions fulfilled, 1832- 1835 . Under the headings of department names, the record shows: date of issue of stores, number of requisition on which stores were supplied, list of articles supplied and quantities of each.
