World: DIY and home improvement revenue 2018-2019

In 2019, the DIY (Do It Yourself) and home improvement market worldwide reached a revenue of 618 billion euros, up from 593 billion recorded a year earlier. North America and Europe were the most mature markets, corresponding to nearly 87 percent of the global revenue. In 2020, the leading DIY and home improvement retail companies were Home Depot and Lowe's.
