Municipal Prevention of Occupational Hazards, 1994

The project's aim was to achieve a reduction in the absence due to illness in the municipal Stavanger through a purposeful work in the sector of occupational safety and health. The background of the project was that methods for accident preventive work in the offshore industry should reduce the frequency of strain injuries and to increase the well-being of the employees. A postal questionnaire was made, and employees in Stavanger municipal answered. Gross sample 1795, net sample 1366.
