Decoding the Molecular Interplay of Enterovirus-D68 and A71: Multiomics Insights into Host-Pathogen Dynamics and Targeted Antiviral Strategies

This thesis looks at how two viruses, Enterovirus D68 (EV-D68) and Enterovirus A71 (EV-A71), interact with the host cellular network. The research shows that these viruses can manipulate the host immune system by using our own proteins to help them survive and reproduce. To fight back, the study aims to find specific proteins in our bodies that could be targeted to stop the viruses from entering cells or replicating. This research could lead to new treatments for infections caused by these viruses by repurposing existing medications to target these proteins.
