资源简介:
This project explores transcriptomic changes associated with in vivo post-ovulatory ageing in pikeperch (Sander lucioperca) eggs, a key factor affecting egg quality and embryo viability in aquaculture. The post-ovulatory ageing adversely affects egg quality and initiates transcriptomic alterations closely associated with fundamental biological processes essential for embryo development and cellular function, such as cellular organization and RNA metabolism. This study highlights the significance of early post-ovulatory time frames in maintaining egg quality and underscores the need for further research into the mechanisms governing RNA stability and cell integrity in ageing eggs.
