CEBAF Linac Field Emission

This dataset contains SRF cavity gradients and radiation readings throughout CEBAF's South Linac collected for surrogate-modeling research. Data were collected by automated routines that adjusted SRF cavity gradients to elicit radiation responses and recorded gradients and NDX detector dose rates at approximately 1 Hz. Data were collected for a total of ~200 minutes of beam studies and machine development time across three dates. SRF cavity gradients represent instantaneous readings that are updated at roughly 1 Hz. Radiation readings are from CEBAF's NDX detectors which integrate dose rate over a time window and provide the updated dose rate measurement at 1 Hz. During this data collection the integration window was set to one second so that the radiation readings should represent independent readings that cover continuous time. Radiation readings are for the one second time window preceding the example's timestamp. Data collection dates: 2024-05-09, 2024-05-14, 2024-05-19.
