资源简介:
These tests were conducted to study the effect of “nonstructural” mass on impact force and duration during an axial in-air impact. A 20-ft steel tube consists of a standard AISC rectangular HSS 64 × 38 × 4.8 (2.5 × 1.5 × 3/16 in.). Steel plates were rigidly attached along the length of steel tube to represent the "nonstructural" mass. The tube was instrumented with 7 strain gauges with a recording frequency of 50 kHz.
