资源简介:
Pollen and macrofloral samples were collected from a Dinetah phase
burial north of Farmington. Radiocarbon ages suggest date ranges between
AD1430 and AD1660. Pollen and macrofloral analyses were undertaken to
assist in shedding light on burial practices of that period. Sample collec
tion emphasized the potential of recovering ritually introduced pollen or
foods, as well as consumed foods. Care was taken to provide adequate con
trol samples from the burial feature to establish ranges of recovery expect
ed as a result of general fill.
