Dataset for the qualitative component of the project 'Digital inequalities and older adults in Slovenia: An evaluation of the measures implemented under the Digital inclusion promotion act'

This dataset is part of a qualitative study that explores various aspects of digital inclusion among older adults, both internet users and non-users. The study aimed to gain an in-depth understanding of their levels of digital engagement, their interest in participating in formal digital skills programmes, and their expectations and desires regarding the acquisition of digital skills in organized settings. Five focus groups were conducted in December 2024: three with non-users or former users of the internet, and two with active internet users. In total, 37 older adults participated (23 users, 14 non-users), with an average age of 73.8 years (ranging from 65 to 84 years). They were recruited via purposive sampling. The files comprises transcripts in Slovenian language (in .doc format) and anonymized demographic data. Transcripts are anonymized; names provided in the file are fictional to ensure confidentiality.
