aiQ have sourced the largest Point Of Sales dataset sampled by the retailers themselves. It enables analysis of the companies producing consumer goods for the retailers to sell. Over 6,000 stores across Japan are included in the sample, and is the only multi-retailer scheme that exists.<br/>330+ product types are covered (food, soft drinks, alcohol drinks, daily misc goods, cosmetics, medicines, cigarettes, etc.)<br/>266+ tickers of Japanese consumer goods manufacturers are covered.

The dataset allow you to analyse at a company and product level:

- pos sales
- unit price
- market share
- unit price vs industry

Point in time analysis supported, as we make available the initial releases of data as well as any re-published values.
