Welded joins are an important component in structures, by this reason is necessary to know the behaviour of these elements under cyclic loads. In this dataset is showed results for the fatigue test of the butt welded joint of AISI 1015 steel and Mexican manufacturing wire ER71-T as the contribution material. Fatigue test was realized within the ASTM standard in the MTS-810 testing machine. The asymmetry ratio used was 0,1. In this study was obtained the fatigue limit equal to 161,4 MPa, at the cut point of 1 500 000 cycles.
