Italy: preferred alcoholic beverages 2018, by age group

This statistic shows the results of a poll investigating the preferred alcoholic beverages at bar in Italy in 2018, by age group. When ordering alcoholic drinks at a bar, 35 percent of respondents between 18 and 24 years old would prefer beer, while 29 percent of them would have a cocktail and only 12 percent would rather drink some wine. Overall 17 percent of the respondents aged between 45 and 54 years old preferred some prosecco or other sparkling wine.
