Long non coding RNAs (LncRNAs)-transcriptome from aphid infested and non-infested plants of Indian mustard (Brassica juncea L.) Czern. & Coss]

The mustard aphid, Lipaphis erysimi K.is one of the major pests that causes high yield loss (25-40%) in Indian mustard. The role of long non-coding RNAs is being investigated to get insights into the understanding the molecular networks and their regulation in relation to mustard aphid infestation in Indian mustard. Hence, the genome-wide screening and identification of lncRNAs was performed using aphid infested and non-infested plants of Indian mustard.
