Ecology Lab 3

This lab occurred within the woodlot and grasslands at York University. A transact of 30m was set up for 10 different times, along which the observed walked. Birds which were spotted were recorded, along with its count and the approximate distance to the bird from the observer (in meters). BIrds were spotted using a pair of binoculars. Any birds spotted across the transact were part of the same trial. Five out of the ten trials occurred within the grasslands while the other five occurred within the woodlot. Lastly, the force of the wind was recorded which was based off the Beaufort wind scale.
