日本国内のすべての世帯及び個人。ただし、以下を除く。
(1)外国の外交官、領事館
(2)外国軍隊の軍人、軍属およびそれらの家族
また、自衛隊の官舎内または艦船内の居住者、刑務所・拘置所に収容されている者で刑の確定している者および少年院・婦人補導院の在院者は調査対象に含まれていない。

This dataset includes all households and individuals within Japan, with the exception of: (1) diplomats and consulates of foreign countries; (2) military personnel and their families of foreign military units; and also residents within Self-Defense Force barracks or aboard ships, individuals detained in prisons or detention centers with a confirmed sentence, and residents of juvenile detention homes or women's reformatory institutions.
