A harmonized global database of mercury and methylmercury concentrations and fluxes in litterfall and throughfall

This is the first release of the harmonized global database of mercury and methylmercury concentrations and fluxes in litterfall and throughfall. Contributors who wish to update the database should first create their own copy of the repository available on GitHub (create a fork), make their changes in that copy, and then submit the changes for review (submit a pull request against the dev branch). Once the changes are approved by the repository owner, they will be merged into the main working version of the database. For users who do not use or are not familiar with GitHub, we also welcome data submissions by email using the provided template file.
