中国寒武纪和奥陶纪牙形刺

专著是我国牙形刺化石之寒武纪和奥陶纪部分的首次系统总结，书中全面收集和整理了我国2010年前发表的寒武纪和奥陶纪牙形刺属种，并尽量根据现在最新的器官属种分类法理念，进行了系统厘定、比较和归并；特别是奥陶纪部分，笔者根据牙形刺自然集群的模式，把大量形态不同的牙形刺标本，即不同的形态属种，按其形态构造特征和产出情况，并结合当前国外最新成果，组合成器官属种。全书研究厘定、记述中国寒武纪和奥陶纪牙形刺属种137属和516种。
志书还分别介绍了我国寒武纪和奥陶纪牙形刺化石的研究简史、形态和构造、分类位置、自然集群和器官属种的简介、分类、生物地理区、生物地层(包括牙形刺的分带及对比)和牙形刺的生物多样性。

This monograph represents the first systematic summary of Cambrian and Ordovician conodont fossils in China. It comprehensively collects and sorts out all Cambrian and Ordovician conodont genera and species published in China prior to 2010, and systematically revises, compares and merges these taxa in line with the latest concepts of apparatus-based classification to the greatest extent possible. Especially for the Ordovician section, based on the natural assemblage pattern of conodonts, the author grouped a large number of conodont specimens with distinct morphologies (i.e., different morphogenera and morphospecies) into apparatus-based taxa according to their morphological and structural features, occurrence conditions, combined with the latest international research advances. A total of 137 genera and 516 species of Cambrian and Ordovician conodonts in China have been revised and documented in this monograph.

This monograph also separately introduces the research history, morphology and structure, taxonomic position, brief introduction of natural assemblages and apparatus-based taxa, classification, biogeographic provinces, biostratigraphy (including conodont zonation and correlation), and biodiversity of Cambrian and Ordovician conodont fossils in China.
