Supporting information POCT scoping review

Heavy metals, common contaminants, are intensified by extractive activities and impact health. Monitoring requires costly equipment, hindering surveillance and control. It is crucial to develop rapid, accurate, and affordable devices to measure them in human samples. This scoping review aims to synthesize scientific information regarding studies using point-of-care tests (POCT) to measure heavy metals in human samples.
