Dataset 2018YFA0305704-001 "Permanent Insulating State Data in Sr₂IrO₄" takes single-crystal samples of strongly correlated 5d transition metal oxide Sr₂IrO₄ as the research object, and the research covers high-pressure electrical transport, X-ray diffraction and Raman scattering properties of Sr₂IrO₄. The high-pressure electrical transport data were collected using the C-Mag integrated extreme-condition transport system independently developed by the High Pressure Group of the High Magnetic Field Center, Hefei Institutes of Physical Science. The Raman scattering spectra were collected with the Horiba Raman spectrometer, a public experimental instrument of the High Magnetic Field Center, Hefei Institutes of Physical Science. The X-ray diffraction results were collected at the BL15U1 high-pressure beamline of the Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility. Data collection locations: High Magnetic Field Center, Hefei Institutes of Physical Science, Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility; Data collection period: 2017 to 2020. Equipment usage: (1) The C-Mag integrated extreme-condition transport system independently developed by the High Pressure Group of the High Magnetic Field Center, Hefei Institutes of Physical Science; (2) The Horiba Raman spectrometer, a public experimental instrument of the High Magnetic Field Center, Hefei Institutes of Physical Science; (3) Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility.
