Environmental sedimentology in mountain regions — Human impact on sediment dynamics in unglaciated alpine catchments (Johnsbach Valley, Austria)

Dissertation Karl-Franzens-University Graz This work examines the sediment dynamics of the Johnsbach Valley, with its extensive changes in the past. This dissertation addresses the following topics: sediment connectivity between different morphological units, the sediment budget and internal sediment dynamics, the consequences of anthropogenic influences and climate change on sediment dynamics as well as suitable strategies for future sediment management.
