Transcriptome analysis of Ostrinia furnacalis egg masses and adult's gonads

The goal of this study is to identify the feminizing factor of Ostrinia furnacalis and to investigate the effects of Wolbachia infection on the transcriptome status in egg masses and gonads. The RNA-seq libraries were sequenced using Illumina HiSeq 2500 platform. For egg mass samples, the libraries were constructed with Ribo-Zero rRNA Removal Epidemiology Kit and Illumina Truseq RNA Prep Kit (non strand-specific, without poly(A) selection). For gonads samples, the libraries were constructed with Agilent Strand Specific library prep kit.
