Spiral coordinate reparameterization of the Planck SMICA CMB temperature field.
The visualization represents a structure-preserving, non-linear temporal reparameterization of the data. Temperature values are unmodified; only the coordinate representation is transformed. The spiral does not correspond to a physical spatial geometry, but illustrates that large-scale coherence is preserved under curved temporal parameterization.
