资源简介:
The included data file contains average residential hourly natural gas and electricity profiles referenced in the following manuscript:
Journal: Environmental Research Letters
Title: Implications of the Timing of Residential Natural Gas Use for Appliance Electrification Efforts
The included CSV file contains the following five fields.
TS: An hourly timestamp
GAS_THERMS: Average hourly gas usage in US-Therms
GAS_BTU: Average hourly gas usage in BTU
ELECTRICITY_KWH: Average hourly electricity usage in kWh
ELECTRICITY_BTU: Average hourly electricity usage in BTU
As described in the referenced manuscript and its supplementary material, the average hourly gas load profile data was derived from a sample of hourly metered AMI data obtained for all of the (17,072) residential accounts located within in two sampled study area zipcodes: 91746 and 91732. These two zipcodes are situated within Southern California Gas company service territory.
The average hourly electricity load profile data was derived from the average hourly metered consumption of all residential accounts located throughout Southern California Edison service territory. These data are made public by SCE on their website as required by the California Public Utilities Commission.
The limitations on the comparability of these two data sources as discussed in the manuscript should be taken into account in all subsequent uses of this data.
