Letter sent on the death of Private Charles Green (2)

Letter sent by Captain Humphrey Buckley to Charles Green's mother breaking the news of his death. The first page is photographed with its envelope, and this is accompanied by a printed transcript of the whole letter. Part of a collection relating to Charles Green, who served as a machine gunner with the 7th Battalion of the East Yorkshire Regiment, and was killed on 8th February 1917, in the Somme area of France.
