Begonia manicata (XX-0-BRAUN-7104585) seeds were obtained from the Botanical Garden at TU Braunschweig. Plants were grown under greenhouse conditions. High molecular weight genomic DNA was extracted with a CTAB-based protocol (https://dx.doi.org/10.17504/protocols.io.bcvyiw7w). Short DNA fragments were depleted using the SRE kit. Library preparation for nanopore sequencing was performed with SQK-LSK114. Sequencing was performed on R10 flow cells in MinION Mk1B. Basecalling was performed with dorado (v0.8.3).
