MSDT_Input_Output

This dataset was developed using ERA5-Land reanalysis data and covers the period from 1 January 1980 to 31 December 2024, with a spatial resolution of 0.25°. The input data include daily precipitation, daily snow water equivalent (SWE), and monthly SWE. The study regions cover 20°N–84°N in the Northern Hemisphere and 0°–60°S in the Southern Hemisphere. The data were processed through temporal aggregation, bilinear spatial resampling, regional subsetting, and quality control, and were stored in NetCDF-4 format using level-4 lossless compression. Based on these data, snow-drought-related indicators were further calculated at annual, monthly, and daily time scales for the November–March period. The dataset can support snow drought monitoring, spatiotemporal change analysis, climate impact assessment, and water resources research at global and regional scales.
