Data and code for: Child acute malnutrition in Ethiopia's Gambella refugee camps across the 2024 to 2025 contraction of humanitarian assistance

This deposit contains the data and code for the article "Child acute malnutrition in Ethiopia's Gambella refugee camps across the 2024 to 2025 contraction of humanitarian assistance: an analysis of published agency records" by G.V. Chandra Sekhar and C. Alemu. The article uses only figures published by UNHCR, WFP, UNICEF, the Ethiopia Nutrition Cluster and other agencies. No individual-level or confidential data are included. The deposit has three parts: a register of the 320 public documents consulted, with URL or UNHCR Operational Data Portal identifier, access date and what was extracted; the extraction itself, 359 published figures on child acute malnutrition, each with source, period, definition and quotation, together with a dated event timeline, camp-level partner presence, ration, funding, population and arrival series, and CHIRPS rainfall for the camp area; and the Python scripts that build the analysis files and reproduce every table and figure in the article, namely an interrupted time series on twelve monthly counts of admissions (August 2024 to July 2025) and a six-camp panel of survey prevalence (2021 to 2025) with randomization inference. No outcome value is interpolated. Running analysis/code/run_all.py reproduces the supplied tables and figures exactly. See README.md and docs/Codebook.md.
