资源简介:
Mitral regurgitation is the second most common form of valvular heart disease.1 The strategy of management in patients with MR is largely guided by the severity of disease. Thus, accurately quantifying the severity of mitral regurgitation and differentiating between non-severe and severe mitral regurgitation is critical in the evaluation of patients with mitral regurgitation.
This dataset relates to a multi-centre prospective cohort study of 35 patients with a diagnosis of mitral regurgitation, as confirmed non-invasively using echocardiography.6 Adult patients with MR due to a primary cause (degenerative valvular disease) or secondary to a primary myocardial disease were included, alongside patients with MR following mitral valve repair or replacement.
The primary research study comprehensively appraising the agreement and reproducibility of the four different CMR methods of quantifying MR has been published.
