MDL415 is owned by Ian Meyer and is located approximately 45km north-west of Chillagoe, in Far North Queensland. Chillagoe is on the Burke Development Road and is located 200km by road north west of Cairns.

Mr. Meyer is exploring for perlite mineralization on the licence. Perlite is an amorphous siliceous igneous rock that has a relatively high water content and is typically formed by the hydration of obsidian. Perlite is used in filters, pharmaceuticals, masonry construction, cement and gypsum plasters, abrasive in polishes, cleansers and loose fill insulation.

During the reporting term, Mr Meyer conducted a technical evaluation and analysis of the licence. Potential markets were investigated, and new equipment (forklift) and infrastructure (storage shed) were purchased.
