APIFLAMEv2 global burned area from MODIS satellite observations 2014-2017

Global burned area estimated based on the MODIS fire observations observations (MCD64, MOD14) using the APIFLAMEv2 software. Two datasets are provided. AB_FRP_MODIS includes ascii files of burned area at 500m resolution (MODIS MCD64) and fire radiative power (FRP) at 1km resolution (MODIS MOD14). AB_FRP_MODIS_GRIDDED provides netcdf files with gridded (0.5x0.5degree) estimates of burned area, FRP maximum, FRP distribution, and potential burned area from small fires (non coincident active fires and burned scars).
