Dataset of PVC and Composite Pipe Rings

This dataset comprises 400 time-series acquired from four accelerometers and one force gauge mounted on PVC and carbon-fiber epoxy composite pipe rings. These pipe rings were subjected to band-limited random excitation at two amplitude levels: 2 V and 3 V, applied via an electrodynamic shaker. Measurements were collected at a sampling rate of 20,480 Hz over a 10-second duration for each trial. The data was recorded at four circumferential locations around the ring (P1: 0°, P2: 90°, P3: 180° and P4: 270°). For each test condition, 20 independent realizations were acquired. All signals are stored in MATLAB .mat files. The data acquisition was performed using LMS SCADAS system at the Structural Health Monitoring Laboratory, São Paulo State University - UNESP, Ilha Solteira, Brazil.
