„2 Kaffer-Mädchen mit Hals- und Armschmuck“ („2 Kaffir girls with necklaces and bracelets“). A woman standing, wearing a skirt with belts, pearled belts and a little bag around her waist, bangles on her arms, several necklaces and a headdress. She is having scars on the upper part of her body and her face is painted white. On her head she is carrying a basket. Right to her a child standing, wearing a drapery around its waist, bangles, a necklace and a headdress, holding and playing an indigenous violin.; Wilhelm Friedrich Karl Blohm, born in 1884 in Keffenbrinck (Germany), was a carpenter. In 1911 he married Marie Bürger. He started his missionary work in 1911 in Unyamwezi (East Africa). After being imprisoned by the Belgians from 1916 till 1917 he returned to Germany. From 1922 till 1945 he worked as a missionary in Baziya (South Africa). He died in Baziya in 1945.
