NETS is a passive-source, broadband seismic experiment in the northeast Tibetan plateau to study the growth and rise of the plateau and its interaction with the surrounding tectonic units. The project is sponsored by the U.S. National Science Foundation, China Academy of Geological Sciences, and China University of Geosciences (Beijing).
