Digital Archive from an Geophysical Survey at Long Furlong Lane, Tetbury, Gloucestershire, December 2025

This collection consists of GIS and geophysics data from a magnetometer survey by MOLA (Museum of London Archaeology). Work occurred on c8ha of land south-west of Tetbury, Gloucestershire, in December 2025.The survey detected a ditch in the north-east of the survey area, and this shared an alignment with a Middle Bronze Age ditch that had been excavated 100m to the north in 2017. Other ditches and possible clusters of pits were also detected, although a complex geological background made these difficult to interpret with confidence. Medieval to post-medieval ridge and furrow was identified in the west and south of the survey area, and there was also limited evidence for post-medieval quarrying.
