Data for 'Studies on the Xiang dialects'

The data comprises IPA and partial Chinese character transcriptions of 22 narratives in Xiang, where speakers retell the events of the pear stories video. This is drawn from a larger corpus of 47 Xiang narratives collected by the author. Also included are .xlsx and .csv files including demographic data for the full 47 respondents, a dataset for Study #1 of the thesis entitled 'Studies on the Xiang dialects', and three datasets for Study #3 for the same thesis.
