Supporting data for ''Sources of cytosolic NADPH in Arabidopsis thaliana''

Previous methods for measuring energy cofactors in plant cells were mostly indirectly and required the extraction of these cofactors before measurements, making it inaccurate and impossible to observe dynamic changes in the subcellular levels of these molecules. In this study, by analyzing the tissue-specific expression patterns of genes encoding cytosolic NADPH-producing enzymes using the GUS reporter system, introducing a novel fluorescent energy sensor mCherry-iNAP1 into several Arabidopsis mutants, and comparing cytosolic NADPH levels in differenttissues of wild type (WT) and mutants, the sources of cytosolic NADPH in different Arabidopsis tissues are clarified.
