The raw hailstone growth trajectory for Global hailstone under historical and future scenarios (Part 4)

The hail growth dataset contains four primary variables: (i) r_traj, representing the evolution of hail radius (in meters, denoting radius); (ii) t_traj, denoting hail growth time, which should be multiplied by 0.5; (iii) x_traj, describing the hail trajectory along the x-axis (approximately the zonal direction); and (iv) y_traj, describing the hail trajectory along the y-axis (approximately the meridional direction). In addition, the dataset includes three auxiliary parameters: h_int, indicating the initial height of hailstones; r_int, the initial growth radius; and w_perc, a parameter determining the initial location, with larger values indicating positions closer to the convective core. The hail growth trajectory dataset is restricted to severe hail events with maximum updraft speeds greater than 5 m s⁻¹, and consequently, the number of events differs among scenarios. Because the original data are very large, they have been compressed. For Windows systems, one rounds of decompression are required (using software such as Bandizip or 7-Zip). For Linux systems, the files can be extracted with the command 7z filename.7z. The whole dataset has been divided into four parts. The fourth part contains hail growth trajectories corresponding to the SSP5-85 scenarios of ensemble-mean simulation of MPI-ESM1-2-LR.
