In this project we examine the relationship between implicit learning and reading development in English-Chinese bilingual children. Through examination of their performance in the implicit learning task and in a large battery of language measures, we aim to elucidate the mechanism through which implicit learning contributes to reading development in different languages, and determine if its contribution changes across time.
