Photographic portrait of an unidentified man at the C. Krug Winery in Napa County, ca.1900. The man, shown at center, stands behind what appears to be a grape press. He wears a vest, hat and striped jacket. The press is comprised of a wooden frame onto which a wooden vat is situated, just below a vice crank at right. A slat in the vat faces left down what appears to be a sluice of some sort. The man looks off to the left.
